1. Show respect for others' and their opinions. Name calling or insulting other visitors or staff is not acceptable and will not be tolerated. Remember that there are as many opinions and tastes as there are people. For example - if somebody states they do not like your favorite band, don't start insulting them over it.
2. Keep it clean, No spamming, do not post the same post more than once, no unnecessary posts containing just one word.
3. Pornographic topics and images (including gross-out "humorous" ones - of any kind) are not allowed. Keep in mind this forum is open for minors and people also view this forum in public places and at work.
4. Asking for, or posting copyright protected material is forbidden by law.
5. Do not post large images (bigger than 400x300 pixels) because they may result in problems with the forum resizing. If you can't resize your image, just post the link without IMG tags. All too large images will be replaced with links by the staff.
6. When posting, try and make it a somewhat "useful" post. Simply stating "I agree" or "Band X rocks!" or more likely "band X sucks!" are posts nobody is really interested in. Please show restraint posting such messages. More chat-like topic's and so called "slow chatting" is only allowed in the "Everything Else" category. Posting purely for the sake of increasing post count, is discouraged. Private messages, e-mails, ICQ or IRC exist for chatting and private conversations. Double posts are not allowed; you can edit your previous message, if needed.
7. Unless otherwise stated, the language of the forum is English. The use of other languages is discouraged outside a context where it would be appropriate, such as dealing with lyrics etc. We also encourage that posts are written as correctly as possible, within the English language skills of the poster. We also encourage usage of proper words and recognised abbreviations, so please do not resort to txt spk, 1337 or cApSY “grammar”. Mistakes happen, of course, so previewing your post might be a good idea – and if you discover an error later you have at your disposal the edit function so that you may correct it.
8. Humor isn't prohibited, but large-scale posting of pointless off-topic messages won't be tolerated either. Babbling without decent contents isn't also a part of a good conversation, and this will be removed.
9. Google and other search engines are surprisingly useful. You'll find the answer for the most commonly asked questions from there, so don't ask self-evident matters.
10. Before starting a new topic, ALWAYS check if there's already one in existence. That's why the SEARCH button exists. It's always better to post in an existing thread than to start a new one.
Have fun at the forum.
