I think there won't be a problem with me promoting my band but if there is, just delete the topic.
Mournful Woods is a project of dark ambient accoustic music with diverse influences ranging from Doom to Neo Folk. The music is caracterized by rich and textured ambient atmospheres with themes of nature, desolation, melancholy and hope.
Right now we don't have any demos for sale because of a printing problem but I should restock for 25 copies in the summer. We have a few promo Cds and we've got new material recorded wich is being mixed at the moment for a future release. There might be new recording sessions and be two new releases instead of one. We're still creating the art and mixing and sorting out the new material to see if we've got stuff that would be best presented on two different release. We've got stuff more Neo-Folk in influence and some more ambient-ish. We just want the release(s) to be as good as possible and not suffer from a lack of content if we decide that we've got enough stuff for two releases.
On our myspace page, you can hear two songs from each of the releases (the Demo and the promo cd). Please check it out and comment, it's always appreciated to get feedback.
