I've learned about Nest because I was a fan of Agalloch and learned about the split they had done.

I had heard earlier about Agalloch and knew about the vinyl split. We actually had the split and other songs for some time, but I did not listen to them.
When I then started to listen to "Silvershade Lynx" there was no turning back.

I don't remember the exact details well for now, but I think it was around the spring time of 2002 or so when I came across Isafjord/Nest -split as I had heard the name "Nest" in some Finnish list of bands'n'projects somewhere in the net at that time. I then truly liked the material of herr AT and along with visiting the guestbooks, writing e-mails and playing kanteles IRL one of the best friendships I've ever had became to exist. Cheers & skål & kippis ja Microsoftille köniin, notta peijakas!

I'm a huge fan of Agalloch and after their split with Nest,I by chance decided to try Nest. This has turned out to be the luckiest moment of my life, for Nest are the most spiritual and soulful music ever.I just hope that some day this music will be judged properly and take the place it deserves.
